The fear of activating books that relate to studies stems from the tradional reading mindset.
It's going to take ages to finish thise.
I have to know it all
If I don't get it right the first time I'll fail
This is hard
This is important.
What if I can't understand it.
These and many more are the buggy critters you have to let go of when activating 'require' reading
No one boot will fit all so all I can do is suggest. I hope we can have some more suggestions from the forum. Whether it worked for you or not, whether you tried it or not.
Start set a timer 10 minutes. Thats your activation time. Not much but that's all you're going to do. You have your purpose, select one or 2 mind probing questions and go for it.
Some things to remember.
10 minutes isn't a lot of time so if you only partially answer the question give yourself credit.
10 minutes isn't a lot of time so you're not going in for everything, right?
10 minutes isn't a lot of time but isn't it amazing what you can learn in that time?
10 minutes isn't a lot of time so if yuo get nothing... let yourself off the hook it wasn'l like you flogged for hours for nothing.
At the end of 10 minutes you can quit, take a short review break (what's the next question?) Have a sip or water and play again.
Do this for 40 minutes (3 to 5 minutes breaks between activation) With this focused activation you would have covered a lot more ground than by putting activation off altogether.
To help you along the way find a way to make it play. We have always learned a lot more when we were having fun.
