Is photoreading the dictionary a good Idea? how does one activater?

Yes. If you want to it's a good idea if you don't want to why bother.

Activation - speak the language, Read the language, hear the language and notice don't stress it, move onto other books.

Boyohboyohboy, Photoreading your dictionary works - and HOW!!!
During the past week, I Photoread my Spanish dictionary a couple of times ('cos Paul Scheele suggested it in CD1...), keeping an eye on the possibility that it might just work.
Then this morning at the hospital, I calmly conversed with the Spanish-speaking doctor in Castilian. I had known a smattering of Spanish, having followed a course some time back, but I have always had to string the words behind each other before daring to express myself.
What a tremendous boost to my self-confidence (not to mention my already-overinflated ego)!
¡No es posible pedir mas!
