I seem to be having trouble using PH on highly technical material (eg. financial equations, theories and frameworks). the process tends to be painful and definately NOT enjoyable.

I was wondering if someone has come up with a better way of working with technical material where at the end of the day you don't end up with homicidal urges.

What you are asking is for a switch for your attitude toward the subject. The question is what is your purpose? Why are you studying it is you don't find it enjoyable?
