I recently received my Deep Relaxation and 10 Minute Supercharger tapes. I've enjoyed them quite a bit so far.

Just a couple of days ago something happened and now I am TOTALLY STRESSED!!!!!!!!!!!

Any suggestions on frequency of use, additonal processes or ? to assist me in adjusting the stress level?

This is such a good source for techniques and data I figure there is something out there I haven't tried.

Thanks

Are you totally stressed from listening to the tapes? Or, is it something else?

1. If you are stressed from listening to the tapes, then you are holding on to your stress at a deep unconscious level. This means that you keep stress in your life to avoid dealing w/ the feelings or thoughts that would pop up IF it were GONE.

2. If it is something else, like your job, then sit down & listen to one of the tapes.

I found out how much stress i had when i started PhRing. I would be relaxed & then when i began to PhR, my shoulders got so tense they ached. I decided to listen to Deep Relaxation FOREVER if need be. I listened to it every night before going to sleep for almost a year. My GOAL was to be able to instantly relax whenever i wanted to. I figured that by listening to this one excellent tape, my physiology would be rewritten & i'd be able to deal successfully w/ stress. It did work.

There are 2 basic kinds of stress: mental & physical. Do you know which you have? Breathing slowly, visualizing relaxing & beautiful scenes, learning how to relax all the different muscle groups are all ways to get rid of stress.

Go to B&N & PhR all the books on stress Then just visualize yourself relaxed.

Another thing you could try: Just as you get into bed at night (don't do this too late.. you want to have enough time to sleep so that you can wake up without the aid of your alarm clock), lay back in a comfortable position (in which you can drift off to sleep), and visualise waves of relaxation washing the tension out of your body. Don't worry if you're too tense to notice a substantial difference in your muscles. Notice your breathing.. and become aware of the room around you. Try to let go of any thoughts you might be having (when a thought/worry comes into your mind, see it.. know it.. and, understanding that it is not a bad thing, let it drift away. Plenty of time for it later. Self compassion is powerfully relaxing).

When you feel that you have 'entered this moment'; When you are not paying all that much attention to yesterday or tomorrow (remember.. you have plenty of time for that later. This is your time.. breathe), start the Deep Relaxation tape. Ask your mind (gently.. compassionately) to show you, while you dream (or spontaneously while you're awake) what you can do/change to reduce the internal stresses (conflicts) you are experiencing.

Try this for as long as you feel comfortable. You might be surprised at the power of your mind.. at how much your mind is willing to work with you to make your life more enjoyable.

Take two of these and call me in the morning

Hi Margret,

I was wondering, while you were giving visionwolf tips if you could give me some. See, I suffer severely from mental stress. I think and muddle over things so much that my thought pattern becomes so convoluted that I have troubles spurting out a proper sentence sometimes. I become overly anxious and my thought becomes strayed and clouded as a result. Any advice?

Thanks Margaret

Believe it or not, Sales Leap can be good. I just talked to a customer who has had similar problems.

Thanks for the replies.

The stress is just life- emotional not physical. And since I know the paras work, as well as the relaxation techniques, I just thought I'd take a chance on the forum.

I am trying similar relaxation techniques to what you have mentioned. With all the knowledge out there I thought I'd dip into the collective wisdom.

Thanks for the suggestions.
