When it comes to remembering something change it into your own words. This means while superreading and dipping you have to rephrase or say in your own words what the answer is. from there you should be albe to reduce the concept to one word or 3 at most. Think outside the box, be creative, funny, make a joke about it.
Remember also there is nothing wrong with having abc or 123 branches to list ideas when there are multiple steps.
So in the case of Step 2 the main branch would be pear (the fruit for me) from there I woud have a branch for explain with whatever number of sub branches I need to list what needs to be explain could be A rules, B time, C swap D review, E write.
The next branch off the pear branch might be "discuss". Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q5, Q6, Q7 It might be points or questions you might consider raising when having discussing the experience.
Naturally since I haven't seen the book that you are refering to, my suggestions are hypothetical.
Branch,- subbranch one,- list 1234
,,,,,,,- subranch two,- list 2 A,B,C,D,E,F,
,,,,,,,- subbranch three,- list 3 X,Y,Z
If you cannot reduce the ideas to that you really need to take a bit more time to put it into your own words.
