The only person who mentioned having permament Photofocus type vision had this as a natural vision defect.

There is nothing unusual about Photofocus. You do it naturally when you daydream. In fact the ability to move into Photofocus has improved vision for some with vision defects.

Please read the book, Harris. It's explained in there what photofocus is.

If you want to learn more about vision visit http://www.vision3d.com/3views.html

or do a search on the world wide web.

Might have been me, but I've also seen a couple of other people mention having the same thing.

Proabbly a reason that I'm more intuitive than most, and see dangers/opportunities etc when other people are blissfully unaware.

It's not that I can't focus properly, as I can pretty much ok and do a lot. It's just that it seems like hard work sometimes, very minimal in a way, but because your seeing all the time, keeping in focus becomes tedious.
True, I suppose it can seem scary, but it doesn't bother me, although it did take a while when I was a kid to get used to it.I kept asking other people if they saw things the same, saying "is it just me, or do you see two of that or the other, or do you see "ghost" images all around."
As I got no positive responses, I just accepted it.
Lol I used to try and pull my eyeballs out as a little kid to see if I could fix them, so my mum tells me anyway.

Oh and read the book Harris, it's a real 'eye opener' lol.

Thank you for the reply Alex K. Viefhaus and flex22! I guess I just have to read the book... (I should get it in Chrismas... )

But I think I like to photoread without my glasses on because then I wouldn't be seeing very clearly and focusing on any of the words, and I can concentrate on the white space around the texts and the four corners (do I really have to see it?). Then my other than conscious mind will just imprint the text into my brain...

I use "photofocus" all the time even though i may not be able to photo read.. I find it more relaxing than focusing on one thing. Plus i find it better to watch everything that is going on in front of me without actually paying attention to one particular thing.

I think you only get permanent photofocus if you're doing it and then someone slaps you on the back of your head.

It's the same thing as when making an ugly face. I never believed it until I actually saw someone making a sour-face and then someone slapped him on the back. Lo and behold, the face stuck and he's doomed to go the rest of his life looking like that.

That is scary babayada! Imagine if you were photoreading and seeing the blip page at the time and then some one come and kind of like hit you softy on the back as a surpise or something. Then you are in the perminent photofocus thing!!!! (Just a joke really... )

So does that mean that I won't have to worry about the permenent photofucus any more??

Oh and sorry for my really hard the read english, I'm trying to read books on grammer and stuff.... to improve my english..

Feel comfortable and at ease in the knowledge that photofocus is the result of using your eyes and you can go in and out of photofocus whenever and however you want.

By going in and out of photofocus you are actually gaining more control over your eyes. Its kinda the opposite of what you suspected.

It's just like using any other muscle set in a new way, it ultimately improves coordination.

It's good to read books on grammar and what not (btw-grammar is spelled with two "A"s).

A neat trick with spelling: when you notice you have misspelled a word, visualize the correctly spelled word and make the corrected portion really big and bouncy, like those letters are saying, "HEY YOU! LOOK AT ME!!!!"
