I think PR can be looked on like this.....

By PR a book, it gets supplanted into the subconscious. So when it comes time to activate and bring it into awareness, we can look upon it that we already know the answer.....the answer is already within us (through having PR it). It's now just a matter of drawing that information out (sort of Socratic thinking, I supppose).

Does that sound about right?

yep,

Build the body mind connection so that you can find the answer. The activation of the book is the way to do it if we want to word it as the author had written it and have conscious comprehension of rules and regulations.

activation is also recogising how we know what we know and our sources. With so much information coming at us, consciously we like to know how it got there.

hi all
not been in for a while
just saw this and it is true for everything i believe
we have to bring ourselves into awareness
then the outside greater conciousness must be brought into us
the stuff inventions and nobel prizes are made of
lol

anyway
ive been using a program to strengthen my eyes and their speed reading
i know its not the same as photoreading but it makes sense to me right now
and when ive broken 10,000 wpm ill head off into PR
i know they are both great systems ive seen them both in action
the one im doing makes your eyes stronger and
faster
photoreading seems to be flipping pages and then rereading anyway
but without the fast reading line by line i see no point
the default would have been only slightly worse
just a few thoughts
haha does any of it sound right?

the photoreadin course does actually say "consider vision training"

I've been meaning to post about this for ages now, but seem to put it off all the time lol.

Basically, I was going to ask:
What vision training do you recommend?

Prana, what is the name of the course your using to strenghen your eyes?

To be honest, for the price of the PRWMS, I expected more details about vision training.Ahh well

yep eyeQ is the one
works great
a simple exercise is to look at the top left hand corner and down to the bottom right diagonally right and then back to the left on the bottom and to the diagonal top roght again
this is only the basic sort of exercise because the rest is within the program
this one can be done without it but the most results come from it

im not saying this is a replacement for {hoto eading but a great stepping stone
and it is easy

im already over 1000 words per minute

it really does open new possibilities in all areas

new perception for sports or just walking down the street or driving
try it out guys

i can read at 1500 now but its not at 100% of the comprehension that i had before
its like 75 to 80% of that
i think in a few weeks ill be beyond that and more near 2000
picking up an average of over 100 or 150 words a minute per day is quite good
and with the exercises i can really feel it
its pretty exciting
photoreading i seemed like i was getting nowhere
but i now know i need a little preperation
like painting a wall
the best results come from good preperation
sometimes more involved in it that the end process

im not a sales guy from the company lol
just a enthusiatic user who has really found benifit from this program
i know some people are very sceptical about people giving praise to anything in public

but in the end its not just the program or system you are using its how you yourself put the effort and practice into it
without you the process would never exist
just means to and end
but we have to make it fun aswell
flipping through a book and understanding nothing wasnt my ideal start
i think there are a lot of obstacles to people trying things like this
they do ot seem to be doing things not great but not at all
they gain doubt much quicker and loose sight of the point of it
i know it works but at what rate?

great work from the people there and here
all very important to gaining higher intelligence, understanding and inner peace

thats what it is to me
what you all think

Cool...thanks for sharing that, Prana. So what do you do...the exercises for 7 minutes a day as they advertise? What's your daily EyeQ routine like?

well i do a little more but not by much
about 5 mins perhaps 3 times on average a day
and one of the sessions
love how it makes you wait 24 hours
saves your eyes and makes you do some homework in the time you have
and there is a sense of improvement
the number games ive done it twice and i noticed the second time i was isolating numbers more easily increasing the odds of finding the number therefore a quicker time
ill wait to see what happens next time

like this:
a session
- test
- exercises
- test

just after
- eye exercises
- maze games
- find number games
- two-point training
- comprehension test
- a minute or two practicing maintaining speed (not all times during day 2/4)
- test

later on i do most of the exercises minus the comprehension which i do perhaps twice more at different times
the same is true with the maintaining of speed
i find that i read enough books to do that
reading and buying books
i seem to do that quite a bit lol
that IS why i am doing this
i know i could read 10,000+ times faster
instead of readin like 400 wpm i am reading nicely a bit over 1200
so im happy you can see that haha
hope this helps

!!!do not strain yourself!!!

my eyes are a bit stronger from little eye exercises i have learnt from other places
i can cope with the routine and will increase sometimes with the added speed i am gaining

this is not boasting but a warning
do the exercises to strengthen without reading much to start with for about a week to allow some adjustment

hope it works for all else

I became a member after 8 posts in three years. woohoo. No more "junior member", lol. Frankly i gave up photoreading, a while a go. I have been busy doing this and that, so yesterday i remembered this fine forum.

Now to the topic. I don't use the software to photoread (as you might have guessed already). I gave up photoreading because of this: My eyes hurt like hell. I have astegmatism, so i cant focus on anything without great effort. The rapid reading step is like pooring acid on my eyes. It got worse these last weeks when I could'nt follow the damn blackboard on uni, so I "illagely" purchased this software to do something about it. I'm a student dammit. Don't ask me how i got it, won't tell. My eyes are getting better now.

I'm not using it as a speed reading program, but I can see the benefit. I got to 800 wpm. Notice that the text in the software are extremly easy, not physics essay. Simply your eyes will get stronger, then you can roll them at superspeed if you want. One more thing, eat vitamines and minerals for the eye, or it will crack like an old guys spine .
