Hi, I'm a so-so photoreader, as in I've just figured out the eyes thing. Re-read the manual a number of times, and understand the principle. I'm trying out Brain Sound studio with Enigma on meditation (light) to enable me to figure out this "state of mind" thing.
I've attempted to photoread about 30 books up to now but never activated. My interest is renewed since I discovered how to work out stereograms-as my vision has altered in perspective somewhat.
I was an intermediate mathamatician at 16 and now have only just in the last 2 yrs understood bases and number systems.
I'm going to photoread "You are a mathamatician-by David Wells", followed by "Teach yourself Algebra" and "Calculus made easy". Then I'm going to photoread a certain maths site I found http://www.qcalculus.com/
Followed by a tougher book called Maths for Scientific and technical studies :-).
The reason for doing this is multiple. I enjoyed science as a kid but couldn't get past very basic equations. Explanations into a kinaesthetic way don't happen for some reason. So I want to fill that in. Also I understand that if I get a systemic overall mathamatical understanding -well at least to basic University level, it will aid me in understanding other things as I'll have new concepts and mental maps to build on.
Also for me it's a BIG challenge.
If I can do this-I'll "know" I can do anything I think :-).
Any comments, thoughts, suggestions? Has anyone else cracked higher maths in general this way? btw to me higher maths is anything at simultaneous equations and worse :-).
