I have just received the photread program. I normally use reading glasses (specticles) to read and write. Is it better for me to use reading glasses or not?

It's a matter of personal choice. You might find the PhotoReading step easier without glasses since glasses can restrict the peripheral vision. Activation will be easier with glasses. So convenience may determine which way you prefer to photoread.
