I just recently stumbled upon Derren Brown and his videos and in one video titled Inside the Mind, he performs photoreading at the British Library. In it he has the librarian walk through the library and choose any book. Darren then photoreads the book and then immediately has the librarian quiz him by turning to any page and asking him distinct question about the information on that page. I'm obviously guessing that Derren is a very experienced photoreader as it didn't look like he had spent much time activating after photoreading and he really did seem to display photographic recall. Truly amazing and another reason to do photoreading!!
