I have read photoreading book several times, almost 8 times. I have applied all the system pass by pass, with all the tips and tricks related on the book, in much books and documents. And the result is nothing.

Begining, Tangerine method don't work on me at all, previewing I dont see important words, sentences or things come up from the paper to my mind, I know how to photofocus, but photoreading pass dont make tread on my brain, I dont activate information, and my mindmaps do not serve for anything.

In spite of everything I support an optimistic attitude, but the fact is that I cant get working.

What could I do ?

My purpose is to learn PR to apply it in all my readings, I want to PR from novels to technical books. I consider it like a good method not only for speed reading, for maximum learning and comprension too.

Ahh, that's the problem. Your purpose doesn't relate to the books you are using. For each book you've picked up you've had no purpose or need to get any information out of the book.

PhotoReading starts with having a purpose for the book. It's active reading you cannot expect great results if you are passively waiting for relevant information to come to you from the book.

Consider what your purpose is for each book. Learning PhotoReading is a by product of PhotoReading and activating on purpose.

Before PR any book, I have tried to state a purpose for the book, for novels, my purpose is simply and little, read for fun, trying to get more possible from experience of reading. For technical book my purpose is used to be learn the content, and integrate the methods, formulas and ways of work in my mind, so later you can use it fast and with trust in not makinkg errors. (I talk about books of maths, physics, programming, ...)

You would take a long time to experience the increased speed of PhotoReading by applying it to a Novel. Most of them are for pleasure reading and we fall into the passive mode of reading very easily with them.

For learning PhotoReading use the Five day test (page 76 of the book) Until the book has gelled for you. Beginner often quit too early not giving a book enough activation layers. They expect to know everything in one 30-minute activation. That's like quitting on the first chapter of a 20 chapter book in traditional reading.

Comprehension builds in layers, with your mind probing questions. In the beginning it might not start coming together till the 4th or 5th layer but once it does it gels quickly after that.
