I've been photoreading for about a year now and have noticed the difference in my reading spead and comprehension since I learned from the book (All I can say is wow!)
I've mind mapped the PR book, I follow all the steps from the tangerine method of previewing, entering the flow state, stating my purpose, using the afirmations, chanting while reading, seeing the blip page, incubating, Super reading and dipping according to my purpose, mindmapping and rapid reading. It seems like everyone has the same question or concern about activation, the steps are easy to photoread, and as Alex explained, the challenge most people face is in the activation. I was wondering what more will it take or how long or what else I can do to be able to activate instantly. I was watching the Photoreading CD again and the newscast on photoreading (yes, I'm aware the shoot took about 4 hours), but I was wondering what it would take to be able to answer questions from the book like in the newscast (or better). I may be mistaken, but I have the impression that advanced Photoreaders, after activating for about 30 minutes can answer any question about what they just read. This hasn't been the case for me yet, however I know where to look in the book most of the time for the answers. What would it take to reach this level of spontaneous activation?

It's probably different for different people. The more actively you can run your mind during the various phases, and the better you can PhotoRead, the more progress you ought to be able to make. I am content with reading more rapidly overall, with a more tangible result. If my results continue to improve, so much the better!

How do you know you can't? The people on the DVD didn't either it was a 30-minute challenge. In the days before we PhotoRead many books. I managed 40 the day before in our power reading day and I didn't do all the sessions. I was running around photographing. Everyone did at least 20 books the day of the power reading. Most of the people in the room were anxious about whether they could activate a book in 30-minutes. But that's all the time they had so they put it to use and activated as much as they could in those 30-minutes. What is important to notice is, somebody is asking questions. After PhotoReading we let the mind answer. So if you want to experience more instantaneous activation, get someone to ask you about the book. If necessary do a 30 minute challenge with someone. For me instantaneous activation is PhotoReading a book and asking is there anything in this book new or useful to me to activate it some more. Then yes or no. Yes, more questions take another look, no put it back on the shelf. But I ask myself some questions. When yes, I find something useful when no, I never have so I no longer spend more time with the book. I've PhotoRead it anyway so the information is still available to me. And if there is anything useful in the book in the future I know where to find it. Alex

ALex,I have a question.In the book Paul asks we had better not expect a answer when mind probing(after photoreading) because it always lead a disappointment.But then He said when we think or discuss with others.We should get a clear answer through mind. Is it incompatible?When I mind probing after photoreading then 24 hours.I always can't get a answer about my question.I think you "yes or no" question is just a feeling,is it?But how to discuss questions with others without activation?How to "let the mind answer?" When we ask a question. To demand a clear answer in perfect form we create a block. Bit like when you know someones name it's on the tip of your tongue but the mind doesn't release it. We expect it all to make sense in an instant. The fact that we don't know it all in that instant disappoints us. It's like trying to lift a car with your hands. You simply can't. When you talk about it with someone the mind turns it on more slowly. This time you're using a jack to lift the car. When you talk about it with someone you get a back and forth flow of information.. A question leads to a partial answer which leads to another question and in the slow space of a conversation you know you understand the answer to your question. The difference is when you ask yourself. You're lifting the car by yourself and with your bare hands using only your strenght. When you talk it over, asking and answering questions with someone else you're using leverage to use your strenghts more efficently. Where can I find your blog? Is that it then, get someone else to ask me questions? You're right, I missed that, on the cd, Paul was questioning the reporter. So I take it, then...if it feels like it's on the tip of your tongue, just keep asking (either yourself, or preferably have someone else keep asking different ways) until it all comes out? That's a refreshing answer. I was expecting to be able to do it all myself, but it would make sense that it would help to have someone else ask you questions.

Yes you got the idea. Someone else asking the question usually gets you to look at it differently and gets you out of your own patterns.
