Greetings Everyone,

Well the other night I finally got around to creating my own binaural beats with Cool Edit 2000/Pro. I thought I’d share this info for all you binaural beat gurus. I’m still new to a lot of this audio technology; so I left a lot of the settings with the default values until I have more time for learning such endeavors.

The basics:
1. Create a new file
2. Choose Generate from the file menu then Noise
3. Then choose Transform then Special then Brainwave Synchronizer

And that’s it. Choose between the low and high frequency settings in Hz with a little difference and you have your own beats. Of course that’s just the basics and I have a ton of other information to learn about this, but hey it’s a start. If some more advanced users frequent this board, please enlighten me with some tips??

I haven’t had a lot of time to devote to such pursuits, hence being a partner in our new found business et all sucks up most of time these days.

Hey, does anyone know how the Cool Edit Pro binaural beats differ from the ones you can create with Brain Wave Generator?? Is there really much of a difference or is it that Brain Wave Generator is just a little more user friendly for creating such things?

Also, any other comments on how you guys like to mix in the beats? What volumes do you like to use, I was mixing in at 30% to hear the paraliminals pretty clearly, but I think I can go way lower and still achieve the same results. Any favorite mixes you guys like?

I really like the BiologicalageReverser mixed in with the NB Generator. I think it flows very nicely. I want to mix in one of the psychic lucid dreaming presets with dream play sometime, anyone tried this? I tried to mix it in with the psychic preset, but that sucked. I felt like I was in way beta or something or it was just too high pitched.

Plus, this guy has a script that contains the Lowery Patent or the Silent Subliminal Technology or something, but basically it allows you to record your own subliminal affirmations that aren’t audible to the human ear but your brain still picks up the info. I think it used to be a CIA patent or something. I think Holosync uses this or something similar. You can get the script here and load it in Cool Edit Pro and create your own subliminals.

I was thinking of trying an experiment. First, cut the meat out of prosperity, loop it around enough times to fit on a CD with the silent subliminal technology. Then, mix it in with some relaxation music (rain, stream, ocean, etc) and listen to it all night over and over. Should I pump some binaural beats into this? Or will this just distort my sleeping patterns? I think I remember someone said they were going to do this with a paraliminal all night, how'd that go?? Any other thoughts?

Thanks!
