Hi, this is a separate topic from my flash card post.

ive got 10 big medical books to cover for my USMLEs. i so far have divided my stash of txtbooks in half, alternating the first set of five every other day with the second day. I 'preread, PR, then postread' the books, it takes me about an hour to do so at least.

I was wondering if i were to divide my books into even smaller bunches, how would my grasp of the material be in comparison to my current routine. thanks.

What's you're purpose? Focusing on one book at a time after you've PhotoRead them is all that is usually necessary. You use the books in tandem with your course.

If you're PhotoReading the books for the sake of PhotoReading alone. You could do one book or two books a day. PhotoReading the books more isn't better if it causes stress. It's better to leave the books to incubate than think you must PhotoRead them again and again and again in order to get results. Forcing yourself to PhotoRead them is like saying you don't trust your mind to help you on this. Well your mind will live up to your trust.

Let go, be playful in your approach. Your mind is a great asset if you will allow it to be.
