That's even more likely when you use traditional reading. When your mind gets a chance to process all the information it does so with discrimination. It bypasses the emotional hype that usually tugs at your decisions. I've had many opportunities to test PhotoReading on product sales and marketing pitches. One thing I've noticed I'm less sold on the hype and more on the what are you really selling me. It's amazing how many copywriters write fantastic ads how good you want it to be and yet omit telling you how their product is going to help you get that. Believe it or not, good. It usually strengthens your beliefs or lets you look at them objectively if they are serving you. You don't change just because you read something in a book. you change because something you thought about something you read in a book. If you find there is something that challenges your beliefs you'll be digging up more books to read. You'll still be saying prove it.

How can a book cause *you* to lower your performance? Whenever you adopt a new skill you naturally are not as good while in training. Your old skills might not be serving you as well at that time however once training is complete your skills are usually better than before. So how would that be a bad thing?

You process the information. Think about it and sometimes even try it for size. You learn. Life is an ongoing learning process.

PhotoRead the lot you get to make an informed decision on each book. Not just accepting someone else's word as to what is a great book. PhotoRead and process the book you become your own leader.
