Hi,

I'm just embarking on Tape 7 which is all about PhotoReading a book of my choice. I choose Dale Carnegie's 'The Quick and Easy Way to Effective Apeaking' at about 270 pages.

The allotted time for the preview time is 5 minutes. I'm having a tough time with even this phase. It took me half the time just to conventionally read the Table of Contents and that felt really rushed.

Next came gathering trigger words. Well, I don't know what's wrong with me but I don't really get any words 'jumping out' at me. As mentioned in a previous session, I skipped through lots of 10 or 20 pages for trigger words.

I just see a bunch of meaningless words on a page.

Any help would be great.

Don't bother conventionally reading the table of content. When you pull trigger words you turn to every 5th 10th or 20th page and just notice the words you see. Same for the table of content or index.
