I would suggest getting level II. It would be
too difficult in this format to transfer all the material related to your question. Their are new exercises, do's and don'ts, etc., in level II. The head is a sensitive area, that you have to be "very careful" with. It is well worth your while to get level II.

Practicing the Active Exercise and the Small Universe sitting meditation of Level 1 can be very effective for sinus problems. I've heard from many people who have said that their sinuses drain during the Harmony of the Universe Active Exercise.

Chunyi Lin says that standing with both arms above your head for two minutes can also provide immediate relief.

On the level I tape I have he shows placing index & middle finger together & extended, with other fingers folded in, similar to the way you point to something. Then he applies a chopping motion to the congested area. No actual contact is made. I have used this technique on my sinuses and found it to be more effective than what I've done before. I have seen a CT scan of where the polyp is in my sinus, so can easily visualize there it is & the shape. I "chop" it in 2 directions, much as you'd mince garlic or something. After only a couple of weeks of doing this, I think it's having long lasting effects! Good luck.

The level I exercises can be effective for everything. If you were doing a healing on someone, using sword fingers and other related techniques, you would still want that person to do the exercises to maintain their health. The Level I manual,(assuming I have the same one), tells you what to do "after" using sword fingers. Sword fingers break up the energy. You then need to remove that energy and put healing energy back in. I see in my notes, that I have 5 minutes down for holding hands over the head, so if it doesn't work in two, hang in there for a few more minutes. I also see that for sinuses, one should work on the lungs first, then the sinuses. Stay away from the crown point on the head when using sword fingers. Again, level II has more helpful information.

Pardon me for reviving this thread, but it felt better than creating a new one, and would help others too I think since the messages posted sound useful.

So are we supposed to Not use sword fingers on people's heads if we want to heal them with this technique? Like if my sister is having some pain around the eyes/sinus or headache, I should not work on that area with the sword fingers? Is it dangerous to work there or it's just not useful? I tried it on some family members so I am a little concerned now.

I have both level I and II, but haven't moved to Level II yet so I don't know what techniques are there yet. I am comfortable with Level I but I will wait a little before starting level II.

Also, what "symptoms" is Sword Fingers good for?

Dabdoob, my recall there are only two caveates for working on the head.

1) Never take energy our from the top of the head.

2) Don't add energy to teeth (teeth problems) it increases the sensation of pain.

The rest is the standard detect, breakup, remove, add-back methodology. Do spend a little time to watch the video. It doesn't take long to learn the basics, or at least be aware of what they are. Those two points above are in the video.

You are perfection.

Thank you. I am assuming you meant the video of Level 2, right? Since when he talks about it in the video of Level 1 he doesn't mention those 2 points. I will take a look and see what he says .
