I am a computer programmer. I did Direct Learning on about 10 books, related to a programming language. I am already familiar with the language but I want really know it. I have read to DL for a few days a leave it for a few weeks. Does that mean that I do not try to use the skills for a few weeks (which may require referencing the books I DLed)?

Or do I just act as if I already know the stuff and program?

Thank you.

Try acting as if you already know. Use the books as reference. The leave it for a few weeks, means, leave your expectations to see results for a few weeks. They certainly build faster when you uses the information as soon as possible.

Put the books to use and see how you go.

Thanks.

I was worried, the using them as reference my be like manual activation, as we are not to manually activate when DLing.

Thanks again.
