Over that last week, I have had the oportunity to meet Shawn a few times. I have to share with you, that I found him to be an absolutely wonderful person, and, very acommplished in SFQ. Here, I have done all these posts, 'talking away', and Shawn has been sitting there, quite humble and quietly, in the background...I hope he pipes in more often, as Shawn the healer, not just moderator, as he has a great understanding of SFQ.

love,
gallen

I've been curious as to why Shawn doesn't pipe-in more often. However, I'm sure he has his needs, and the students must find true wisdom themselves.

Gallen, did you get to meet the rest of his family? I ask because Shawn always speaks so highly of his wife's SFQ ability.

I regret that it won't be until sometime next year before I'll get a chance to meet you folks again and for the first time.

Namaste,

Gallen (pronounced: gay-len, yup, I figured a few of you were wondering too):

Thinking back to our looong lunch and seeing each other again this weekend at the SFQ Association meeting, it was an honor to meet and share experiences & food with you.

Iam2: With your earlier post, he almost walked by me -looking instead for a 900lb eating machine!

Much Love, Shawn

LOL.

Okay, folks for the record. Shawn is in disgustingly good shape. By disgusting I mean: taller, leaner, more muscular, and younger than myself.

There now Shawn, I'm the four foot nothing 900 lbs ancient carnivore.

You are perfection.

I have to admit, I was looking for a bigger guy that could pack away some food! Now, Iam2, with your self description, I am picturing a short "Shrek"!

Oh yes, I have met Darcy before, at the Level 4 retreat last summer. And, I got to hold the new baby for awhile this weekend. Brought me back to my baby holding days! The nice part about having been there and done that, is holding someone else's baby, and being able to give the baby back and leave , travelling light! It is a been there , done that , thing! Wonderful, but lots of work. I look forward to being a grandparent, and getting the best of both worlds. -g

Well my youngest is 5, so I'm not that far along the been there done that cycle.

As for looking like Shrek. I wish! My skins a little greener. It's not easy being green. Think of Yoda's bigger brother and you'll be closer to what I look like.

Here's an exert from my day, "... 6 carbs and 3 carbs ... and 2 carbs makes a 1238 carb snack. Good thing lunch is soon".

Perfection you are.

aloHA!

Relating this back a little into a qigong focus, Darcie feels it's important to have iSaiah show up at the Association meetings, so people get that Spring Forest Qigong's focus isn't just for someone who's sick or has a bee in their bonnet to be a healer.

It's a relearning of being simply and preciously connected to source. That can be quite a shift for someone looking the purchase/take level I and wondering So how long do I need to do this?

I don’t know if you got to meet her at the retreat. She came to Chunyi’s presentation and was sitting in back with iSaiah traveling along incognito
We had a wonderful woman call today to ask if we were doing qigong in the office today and if she could, like Pete's note said, come and join us. She came to see if we're really doing what we say, and joined us in the active exercises before purchasing the course.

We do it daily at the office not because we're battling an illness or feel we have to - we do it because it makes a difference in our lives.

Yes, Darcie is incredible. She is also the first to tell to her client's and students that they can do this too. She came to SFQ through a last chance effort with chronic pain (you can read her story and others in Chunyi's Born a Healer book), and now appreciates the work for not only it's healing qualities, but it's approach to life.

My role on the Forum Iam2, is The role as moderator, is to chime in when something hasn’t been handled by the group –whether it’s a question, or staying with the focus and intention of that Forum. Outside that, I chime in when I get a chance, but that's limited with my other responsibilities.

Much Love, Shawn

Shawn:

You mentioned Master Lin's book Born a Healer. I couldn't find it on this site or when I did a Google search I couldn't get anything to come in. Where can I buy it?
Thank you.

Hi Shawn:

Special thanks for your guidance and help on this forum. It was a pleasure to meet you and Darcy at the conference last fall.

I'm sending this from Panama today!
