Computer science sounds challenging to me. I don't know much about computers. When I have talked to college students who study Comp Sc they are always doing a project for class and they work really hard.

Do you live in NYC or upstate? I lived in NYC for about 8 years right after I graduated from college. Moving there was one of the best choices I ever made. I loved living there and only left to continue my education. I thought I would move back someday...and who knows...maybe that someday will come but now I cannot imagine leaving Hawaii. I studied psychology in graduate school. I loved it. I did my masters degree in NY at CCNY. That was a lot of work and a lot of fun at the same time. I was a goof off in undergraduate school but once I got to grad school I was really interested in the subject matter and actually studied and wanted to learn. Plus, it was fun.

Have you gotten your DVD/CDs yet? I hope you share your experiences.

Have a great day
Blessings

Hi Nickie,

WOW! CCNY huh? That's where I studied from 93-99. Started with premed but didn't want to do that so changed my major to CSC. Yeah, got 160 credits, like I need them. LOL. When did you study there?

I live in Queens, NYC. Well, I do like it here - I think once you are used to NYC life (you can pretty much find anything 24/7), it is hard to adjust somewhere else. Other states are just too quiet. Although, I'd definitely go to Hawaii someday, for visiting. I guess I'll probably move a little away from the city someday where I can find some space around my house, a lake, trees, etc. Yeah, computer sc is difficult at CCNY - the professors just want to give everyone C grades for no reason. :@

I used to develop websites, but I don't really do coding anymore (used to but rarely these days) - I never really liked typing codes, I like to visualize things. Mostly I work with project/site management and have my web business. That's what I like.

I'll get them next week. Can't wait to start. Although I'll need to be consistent. I waste too much time now - by the time I go to bed is usually after 2 am.

Noticed this morning that I feel warmth from only my right hand as I do
"Moving Of Yin & Yang"... I do feel something in the left, but cannot
say what just what right now.
Also just when i think that I feel chi, its gone and hard to
consciously find.

Is this all normal?

Been approx. 2 weeks now...
Been practicing active exercises every morning & meditating every other evening or so.

W/Active exercises I feel a spider web type feeling(tingling) in my hands up to my forearms still & expanding with additional practice. Also there is warmth as my hands move up towards my upper body. I can only fee this warmth in the upper 1/3 of my body as my hands move up. I feel it most at the top of my head. Then as I focus on these feelings... its lost!?!??? .

I can feel the resistance of the ball as my hands move in and out(Good I hope).

I can also feel an increase of body heat(upper Body again) at some times(more that previously experienced).

? - Is all this progressing properly?
? - What else should I expect as far as changes or experiences?
? - What can/should I do different?

As far as the meditations...
I can feel the sensation in the different parts of the body as I do small universe, but I get a BIG knot in my back & cannot continue very much past the time that the master stops. If I prop myself aginst something I can get thru the other meditation with ease.

? - Any suggestions?
? - do I have blockages that cause me not to be able to continue?

? - Anybody else live in Jackson, MS?

Thanks to all of you for being there!!!
Rick

I also must report that my energy level has increased, noticed by my day starting @ 5a to 9p without the usual dip in energy... almost did not notice as it was so subtle.

Hello all

I went to a baby shower for a friend yesterday and something in the food they served upset my stomach very badly. I had to leave the shower early I was so sick. A friend drove me home because I was clammy and sweaty. I thought I might faint and I knew I was going to throw up. (YUCK) Got home and was sick then lay down on my bed. In my mind I kept seeing sword fingers over my stomach cutting up the blockage. I didn't have the strength to do it physically and I felt like I just didn't want to move. I didn't even remember to use the pass word...all I could think of was sword fingers over my stomach. I fell asleep and slept for about 2 1/2 hours. When I woke up I felt fine. I showered and called my friend who had driven me home to tell her I was feeling much better. She was shocked that I had recovered so quickly. She came over and drove me to get my car which I had left at the shower. She kept telling me she couldn't believe I was ok...she had been afraid she would have to take me to the ER later because I had looked so bad when she dropped me off. (She had offered to take care of me but I had wanted to be alone). I was able to get my car and go to the grocery store feeling fine. I made sure I drank lots of water and did a half hour of sitting exercise last night. Today I feel great! I just wanted to share my experiences.

Oh, and one more thing. The half hour with Small Universe and with Self Concentration each go so quickly. I am frequently amazed that 1/2 has past.

Blessings

Nickie,
Thanks for the reply. I too like had hoped that some of those experienced might reply so that we both may learn as newbies.

Glad you are feeling better from your venter of yesterday & thanks for sharing... It helps me to learn from any response to a level I can understand.

Thanks,
RRNash
