Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ Spring Forest Qigong Negative energy or black magic

I am hesitant to ask this question because it is weird. In some Asian countries, there are people who say that black magic is practiced there. The suffering of the affected people is real. Some of them have also got themselves examined by psychiatrists and neuro-surgeons who are unable to normalize the situation. I have also heard that migrants from those countries do this on the native people in other countries. I am confused and concerned and would like to know what Spring Forest Qigong feels about this matter and how it can be handled? Is this a case of negative energy being practiced which Master Chunyi Lin mentions in his tapes?

I do not believe you are going to get an answer regarding black magic, although to stretch a little, Master Lin does talk about Feng Shui and negative energy in the evironment.

He talks about practicing Feng Shui and changing your environment to bring it into harmony with your energy system or you can practice SFQ and develope a high energy level so that the environment does not bother you and you actually affect it.

The type of energy you develope from SFQ practice tends to dissolve the negative things in the environment to bring balance and harmony.

As you yourself develope as a SFQ Healer you have many tools to remove such negative energy from people.

I'll chuck in my two cents. I have long thought on similar topics. The energy itself is not negative. The type is just not right for where and when it is. The effects of this placement can have effects that we would label negative or bad.

If I go around stealing and hurting people that is just qi in the wrong place. Having effects we label undesireable.

In SFQ we are developing within ourselves a capacity to obtain and direct a type of energy that is helpful for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Those last words are labels, but they reflect our goals and the nature of the energy will are learning to call upon.

As jeffdengr refers to Master Lins words; as you develop in SFQ your own energy changes and as you change through this practice you become less suscepitble to external influences that go contrary to the energy with which you are working. As your energy develops you will influence your environment more and more with your type of energy.

In a story I heard Master Lin tell, he had a person destroy (burn) an antique piece of furniture because the energy it held (and held by previous owners) was unhealthy for her home and family. The person really like the piece and was reluctant. Several unpleasant thinks occurred in the family. She finally relented and the day she burned the piece some things began to mend.

I'll add my 2-bits worth..I've worked with the public all my life ( I'm 64 )and I can see or sense a persons aura or energy field..in all my years I've only encountered 2 people that I felt were truly evil..I later discover that one had performed murder while doing a Satanic ritual..that the other fantazied about murder & rape..( some say it wasn't just fantasy ) these 2 took the universal energy the Creator gave us & used it for negative purposes in order to control or hurt others..They could just as easily have used that enegy for good but chose to embrace the negative use of energy..I think that's why some people are attracted to black magic...the urge to control or distroy...fortunately, most people would choose good...Most (not all) of the harm these practitioner do results from the BELIEF of people INVOLVED..if someone is cursed by a witch and believes ABSOLUTELY that the curse has no power than it will have no power over that person..I do ramble on..
