I am new to Spring Forest Qigong.

1. Are there any success stories in healing diverticulitis? I couldn't find any on my search.

2. What blockage(s)is (are)involved?

3. What is the most effective way to use Spring Forest Qigong to heal the discomfort, inflammation, and infection of diverticulitis?

Thank you.

I have Doverticulosis, and it occasionally flares up into Diverticulitis albeit not often any more but is very painful when it does. When it flares up I (or Sharon) simply use the Sword Fingers procedure that is taught in level 1. Usually after just a few minutes the pain has subsided considerably.

When I meditate during those intermittent flare-ups, I use the Small Universe and when Master Lin starts the Ending, I usually shut off the tape and continue moving the energy into the area that is hurting (my lower left side). I do this for all pains.

I visualize the palops as just what they are, small blister type protrusions on the colon that have become inflamed. I sometimes place my left hand over the painful area and breath slowly and deeply imagining the Healing energy of the Universe coming into every cell of my body and coming out the palm of my hand and healing the palops. I continue making them smaller and smaller until each area of pain is gone or the inflammation has cooled down.

Hope this helps you – works for me
