Hi, iwould like to know how to make a tea out of the black sesame seeds? Also is it better to use organic black sesame seeds? Thank You for your answer.

Aloha Shake22,

The black Sesame Seed instructions are found in the Level II coursework.

Good, better best: organic black sesame seeds would ideally be better, but needed? Not necessarily.

Much Love, Shawn

"Soak two to three tablespoons of black sesame seeds in water for five minutes.
Discard floating seeds and hulls.
Cook the remaining seeds for five minutes in one glass of water.
Let stand for 10 minutes.
Drink the broth and eat the seeds.
You can make a large batch and keep in the refrigerator for up to a week.
You can drink the broth daily. Morning is best."

Hope this helps!

That's what the course material says... and when I'm at home that close to what I do. However, at the office I bring the kettle to a boil. Use some boil water to pre-heat my mug, them pour the water out. Then add seeds (1 to 2 teaspoons) into the mug, and fill with water. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes and drink.

Not best, but better than a coke. The longer you boil the seeds the stronger the tea. The seeds pop about the same with the Best and my office version. Be prepared to rinse those seeds out of your mouth. I usually save the last 1/4 of the tea to drink after I eat the seeds.

You are perfection.
