I'm wondering if you (Learning Strategies) would consider taping a guided meditation for the group healing meditation. I think this would be helpful, especially for those of us who are new to Spring Forest Qigong.

Aloha Cassie,

I suggested this a long while back, since Chunyi doesn't teach this mediation in classes. He shared it at some Guild meetings a good number of years back and it was generally used as the closing/group healing.

It's powerful for those participating as well as those in the "middle," which are the main reasons I chose it for this Forum's healing meditation. It being one of my favorites didn't hurt either!

I'll put it out there, since maybe it's time to look at it again.

Thank you for the suggestion.

Much Love, Shawn

I agree. It would be great; I get really distracted trying to read and meditate at the same time.

Aloha Claudia,

You could make a recording of yourself leading the mediation and listen to it.

The other thing is to look at the meditation from a big picture view and trust that after doing it a couple times, you know it, and just let it flow.

  • Beginning (Prepare Yourself)
  • Bring in People
  • Connect to Internal Energy
  • Invite the Sun
  • Combine Our Energy with the Sun’s
  • Sun’s Energy Penetrates the Physical Bodies
  • Bring Energy Back to Bodies and Thank the Sun
  • Ending

Much Love, Shawn
