I just received my Level 1 Springforest Qigong learning program. I' m glad I decided to begin learning about Qigong. I have seen some mention in this forum of ideas that Chunyi Lin might have revised since this was published. Can someone comment or refer me to those posts?

Aloha joangolfing,

He hasn't been teaching the leg lifting with the 7-Steps exercise in class. You can just keep the legs on the ground thoughout the exercise. Its easier for people to stay relaxed and feel the energy more if they're not worried about teetering over.

You can find some refinements for the Moving of Yin and Yang in the this post.

Much Love, Shawn

Thanks Shawn,

I read the posts you suggested and found "feeling qi" to be the most important factor in practicing Qigong.

"It's more about "feeling" the energy as you do the work, than getting the hands just so, or doing this many times."
