Okay - we are on the edege of a New Year. I have purchased CMBF and want to know how others get along with the process. I have found it useful so far in focusing on very specific items for change and improvement. Previoulsy, my goal setting, although rigorous and well thought through was too general -ie, " I will have two new clients by Spring 2005" - "I will publish three articles in Journals this Year" etc. I am finding that the SPECIFICITY in the process actually helps me - when previoulsy I let me flexibility and intuition take over - BUT this goes against my personality type (Myers Briggs ENTJ) and can be quite challenging.

I am interested in............
What others have found in the process that works magically for them
Tangible results that others have actually achieved using this process

Enjoy the New Year

I just started the program today and I am totally stuck on step one. What is my life's purpose? It sems that if you get this "wrong" the whole exercise will be wasted.

I've listened to the visualization exercise twice already and have really come up with NOTHING.

This is not the way I wanted this to start.

Keep going. The idea is to go on and not analyse at the start. Remember if you're not happy by the time you've finished you can start over.

When I did the couarse in 2003 I had no clear purpose for my life either but I went onw with what I had and for the first time in my life a goal setting program yelided results. Withing 6 months my three main goals came into being and by the end of the year they were all set.

So I suggest you keep going don't analyse the conscious mind only handles a small part of your thinking. Go with what comes up without analysing too much.

Part I - Greatest Pleasures

What Physical, mental, emotional states bring you the greatest pleasure?

What is this question trying to ask me? I have no idea. What qualifies as a mental state, sane or insane? A Physical state, hot or cold?

This is by far either the most difficult or the worst put-together product I've ever purchased from Learning Strategies.

I'm forcing my way through this program with hopes that somewhere along the way it will start to come together.

Okay, Ask yourself when do I feel most alive. enjoying my life. Am I in the company of other people, paint, waterskiing or dancing for example. What do I experience emotionaly, what am I saying doing or thinking when I feel joy?

What qualifies them? They are the first not the second but the first ideas that come to mind when you think of hwhat bring you joy and aliveness or what you enjoy doing.

Hi Everyone!

I did the Clear Mind, Bright Future exercise on Jan 1 to give myself a clear intention for the New Year.

Philip I have to laugh that you think your goals are not specific. For my goals, I wrote "be happy" "live in the moment"; to me yours seem really specific.

I am taking Bill Harris' excellent courses along with being a beginning Holosyncer, so my plate is pretty full. I took an appreviated test of the Myers-Briggs and was a IXFX so I see that I am attaining balance in a couple of areas already!

I agree with LS that you have to keep feeding your brain, and since I am an older adult I feel it is vital to keep myself interested and challenged!

I cannot access the course anymore so I would like to know if it is a good idea to make lists daily of things that I want to accomplish. I am a bit of a "cultural creative", so order is a challenge for me.
Another challenge for me is decision making.

Also waiting for my paraliminal tapes!

Looking forward to your input, Liz

HI again,

Today I am making lists for what to do since I realized I am a strong kinesthetic learner and I learn by doing, so I will let you know if it works.

It is such a wonderful adventure to be able to look at my strategies and realize they are not who I am. If they aren't working, then I can get a new strategy.

My biggest challenge is staying patient with the work of dismantling old strategies and adopting new ones. It can be painful at times to realize how much suffering was caused by a bad(usually safety) strategy, but when I look back at how much I have improved, I realize I can only get better and better little by little and sometimes instantly, which is a revelation in itself.

I have been fortunate to find alot of wonderful teachers along my path. Sometimes I move on to learn new things because I am like a kid in a candy store, so much to learn and explore in the world and so little time!

Thank you to LS and Centerpointe for putting out uplifting and positive messages for the world. May your ripple effect ripple on!

Liz

Has anyone tried to integrate CMBF with Abundance? I have been revisiting the CMBF package and tailoring into the Abundance methodology - so far the manifestation process is working very well - but maintaining momentum can be difficult. If I could maintain the same energy to use the process every day I am sure the process would work faster. Has anybody really submerged themselves into the process CMBF/Abundance and achieved outstanding results? The forum has not really recorded or outlined the results that people have achieved - but I think recording these or outlining successes would be a great motivator for forum readers.
