Brian, I'am also interested in anything sleep related. Something that worked for me, and allowed me to reduce my sleep by almost an hour was Germanium Sesquioxide (Ge-132, organic). I learned about it from superlearning2000, then after I did my own research on it, I found an excellent book by Keith Stepro titled Germanium (which is only $3 and can be found at
http://www.iherb.com). One of the many benefits of Ge-132 is that it dramatically increases concentration of O2 in blood, it is also 'may be the most powerful immunestimulant of all', it helps cells clear out unburned waste products, it knocks out viruses and microbes that live on toxic residues, the list of virtues of this supplement can go on and on... A side effect of supplementing with germanium (besides feeling good and having better health) is less time needed for fully rcuperating sleep.
It is sad that in the US germanium doesn't have the popularity it deserves, unlike in Japan for example. If I only had to chose two supplements, it would be vitamin C and Ge-132.
How are your results with hemi-sync tapes? I think you've mentioned either here or on bwgen that you tried them. I have the catnapper tape and it seems to work, but not as perfect as I expected.
