Brian,

I have been following your posts, especially concerning your experiments with sleep. I am extrememly interested in all of this and I have tried the Delta meditation and I have decided it is definately something I would like to pursue. I have purchased a portable MP3 player so I can encode all of the courses, paraliminals, and Brain Wave Generator "sounds" all in one unit and take it with me and also create custom playlists that could be listed to throughout the night (it has a TON of memory so I should be able to put all the audio info on it at once). I tried using Music Match Jukebox to encode one paraliminal, but it lost quite a bit of quality and some of the stereo effect. I can hear a difference in left/right but it does not entirely separate them. I know that you have posted this problem, but has it cut down on the benefits you recieve? You talk about Cool Edit Pro and 2000. As you already know, one is extremely expensive and the other is not. Is Pro that much better than 2000? Does this program create higher quality mp3's and have true stereo effect, or am I wishing for something that can't happen. Another question that I have is that I am wondering if the Mind machine is needed to reach delta, or if good headphones and BwGen sounds encoded to the portable mp3 player are good enough. Tell me what you really think, as money really isn't a large problem(as I consider this an extension of life), but I surely don't need to waste it. I also have problems falling asleep with my headphones on...they are very large and I like to sleep on my side. Do you know of any high quality headphones that are thin enough to sleep on your side.

I realize that you are a busy person as I also attend college on the east coast. I appreciate your time in reading this.
