I would think so.. My most recent book purchase, _Creative Imagery_ (how to visualize in all five senses), begins with a self-hypnosis exercise.. I've been working on it, but have a difficult time "trancing out", so I'm gonna go see a hypnotherapist soon.

If you want to develop a photographic memory, I'd get together with a group of people and "work out" together... Take turns organizing a bunch of different objects on a table, cover with a cloth, show the table for a moment, and have your subjects describe to partners (or tape recorders) what they can still see in their mind's eye.
