This is a very cool idea on Thom Hartmann's website - www.lasthours.com. It synthesizes two concepts from physics and NLP:

1. That reality is nonlocal, with a field of intelligence across everything.

2, That our nervous system has sensory representations of concepts that, if shifted, shift the experience of the world.

For instance, when people are describing something they often use their hands to show it 'out there'. Thom's groundbreaking idea is to suggest that perhaps it is not JUST the nervous system of the individual you descirbe, but also the energetic nonlocal REALITY of the thing.

For instance: when i talk about the middle east crises I have certain internal representation of it (NLP calls these submodalities) embodied as sounds, sights, and feelings in my body. The Hartmann theorem says that these representations lock into the world's energy field. Change the representations and you change the energetic reality. The results of this personally and for the world are awesome, and many writers have had this intuition (Shakti Gawain most notably).

I have personally used the Hartmann theorem to follow the energy and gain insight into my workplace's final fate in one or two years time (it will most likely go out of business); to gain an intuitive understanding of the middle east crises and the resolution of and participation in the problem in my personal life.

This is a kind of magickal theory, I think, and well worth sharing. It would be profound and useful to test this out in actual skill development for photoreading and direct learning.

What kinds of comments, insights, applications does this inspire in anyone??
