I guess you are referring to:

Lifting the Veil: Practical Kabbalah with Kundalini Yoga: the Expanded and Revised Work by Joseph Micheal Levry

I will check it out. I wasn't referring to the relationship to your products as I was to where you see kundalini fitting into the evolution of consciousness, for instance, in relation to the scales laid out by Ken Wilber in his "Spectrum of Consciousness".

I suppose that the flow of the kundalini energy continues to change as we grow in consciousness, but many people will experience a noticable "awakening of the kundalini" from a relatively dormant state as they begin to work with meditation or one of the various development programs available. After this initial awakening it's not like, "Hey, I did that kundalini thing, now dude, where's my halo?"

Even though I believe that I have experienced what is known as an awakening of the kundalini, I believe that there will be further "awakenings" or relatively significant adjustments to the configuration of the kundalini at higher spirals of the cycle such that it would seem that it was asleep in it's prior state.

Even though I would classify myself as an advanced meditation practitioner and one who has experienced some of the more rare phenomena of personal development, I must say that I have really appreciated your products - Photoreading, Abundance For Life, and Genius Code very much ( I still have yet to go through Memory Optimizer ), and I have found them to be very helpful in the continuing process of expanding my consciousness and service in the world.

In regards to Abundance For Life, Pete, I really have to say I can't give it high enough praise. You have put together a top-notch development program. Actually I could say you have brought together many great systems into one powerful product. I am considering writing up my story of using AFL. It may sound like I am going over the top to say this, but I feel like I have already gained more from the program than if I had won $1,000,000 in a lottery because of it. Maybe it was just a case of the AFL being around in the right place at the right time - so that it was like the straw that broke the camels back - it would be very hard to know for sure.

I believe the healing energy in Qigong and Kundalini are the same. What do you know on this? I haven't pursued it.

Most people have different definitions of kundalini. In the West, it tends to be a watered-down version of the original esoteric practice by the yogis meaning something akin to "peak experience." Also, most writers mistakenly classify all subtle energies as being the same and many who write about kundalini have never experienced its true manifestation.

I prefer the definition as originally used to refer to the dormant energy (Shakti) lying at the base of the spine. It is necessary to clear the nadis and sushumna in the spine using advanced pranayama techniques to allow full unobstructed circulation before the kundalini is activated. Those who ignore these essential preliminaries put themselves at grave risk when activating the kundalini. Having activated the kundalini many times, I can attest to the necessity of proper preparation and I recommend the close guidance of a qualified teacher in person. It can be an extremely fearful and uncomfortable situation.

If the milder definition used in the West is being used here, then nevermind the cautionary notes. However, I wish the term kundalini was not used in such cases as it is misleading.

What do you do with kundalini experience? What's the benefit of it? Or is the experience itself the reward of doing it? (If these questions are stupid, pardon me, I just don't understand why somenone would want to do it.) But i'm interested

Could this "master that has completely captured the imagination and heart" by any chance be David Hawkins? If you haven't heard of him, google it. His wisdom is esoteric but it resonates with truth. Also, to other readers of this forum, check out The Sedona Method. These two influences have been a blessing to me on the path.

Supposedly, bringing the energy up the spine and into the crown chakra creates an experience of enlightenment.

It's supposedly dangerous if you have blockages in your chakras and what not.

The energy can supposedly damage you physically and psychologically.

Ram Das talked about this drummer who through the rhythm of his instrument could cause energy from the base of the spine to move upward. Ram Das said that as the drummer did so, members of the crowd suddenly started exhibiting all number of weird behaviors. The drummer told him that each behavior was representative of an energy blockage in a specific place ... that the energy, when blocked, was venting out at different levels in each person and the strange behaviors were symptomatic of where the blockages were.

In terms of sloppy overgeneralization and ignorance, I have thought of it as bringing primal ID energy up into the SuperEgo. That is, you're bringing the stuff of your animal nature down from your genitals up into the brain and spiritual center, thus refining and enculturing the primal energy and bringing new life to what could be stale and stagnant with too much order. This may be wholly inaccurate, however. It comes from a mish mosh of various things I have read, which in themselves have probably been mish-moshes from other sources.

This kundalini stuff sounds like a taoist "fire" method. I think I like the water method better. More relaxing and dissolving, rather than go go go, push push!

You must neutralize all religious and science conditioning, as it will employ your whole being to defend itself from seeing what obsoletes itself...
Without a proper cleanup, that internal civil war will attempt to destroy you more and more the closer your evolution threatens those programs...
Without having neutralized said conditioning, you are scheduled to be recycled... no matter what you learn and try to do...
Without seeing the magic, you can't be the magic, and that conditioning is inplace to prevent your evolution...
In essence, science and religion has put the brakes on evolution, while they destroy life faster than the planet can heal and replenish... Meaning that the planet will soon run out of life... and me too will have gone byebye, surfing the comic currents in the first next... for an expectancy of 10-million years, or less...
occassionally glancing back at the human condition, to see only rot remains.

Kundalini is your vehicle and fuel into the afterlife... To fail Kundalini is to fail Life, is to fail the afterlife... Kundalini is the key to get you into the afterlife...
Kundalini is the body's strive and the spirit's power to continue... Kundalini Is ones own sexual energy...
Wouldn't it be quite an interesting hellish selfdestructive paradox for one to be striving for Kundalini, while denegrading sexuality... Yikes! That would be like choppin' off yer own thingamabob just before doing your whatchamacallit...

Yes! "Trust the force Luke'".. Read it in your user's manual video memory of your hereditary DNA molecular memory...
Learn to com with your DNA, by first gaining permission from your R & S conditioning, to look beyond that conditioning... some what like trying to cut rock with scissors, or scissors with paper...
Religion can't permit you to look beyond religion, or religion would soon cease to be... All attempts to look beyond are in effect suicidal, while the conditioning is viable... Ironic that religion is what holds us back from realizing an afterlife... And it's all for maintaining the illusions of Money and Power... Mankind is doomed to hell...
