This may be a stupid question, but...

I was thinking about Direct Learning and how you get the "ah-ha" results after an amount of time. I was wondering can you cut down that lag time between activating Direct Learning and getting results by envisioning your future self a little closer to the here and now.

So instead of visualizing yourself using the skill some time in the future, could you use the technique to visualize yourself using the skill the next day and get results the very next day that way?

I'm curious about this too. But how about visualizing ourselves using the skills right now? What kind of results if any we would get?

Visualise using the skill putting more emphasis on that than "some time in the future".

This in my view can stall you, as the saying goes, tomorrow never comes.

When you are visualising you cannot really visualise yourself doing it right now but you can visualise yourself using it at the next likely opportunity, that is sometime in the future isn't it?

Alex.
