I don't think I know how to breath properly. In fact I think I'm terrible at breathing. I would just like to know what is the proper way of breathing for me just sitting here? You know just the simple thing I'm not interested in Qigong right now.

Thanks,

Hornet

Check your local library for books on Qigong, Yoga, Tai Chi, Huna or just search under the subject of "breathing." If you can get your parents to front you the money, a singing class would improve both breath and voice.

Hornet,

The best exercise I have ever found to breath better is this. First keep in mind that your lungs are very much like baloons. The more you breath in the more they expand and the more they expand the better it is for your health and your concentration.

So take time a couple of times a day for a few breaths and breath in, when you feel you can't breath in any more, continue to breath in, and then breath in some more. Then when you absolutely think you can't breath in any more, breath in a bit more. Now slowly and gently exhale until all that air is out.

Repeat the process for several breaths. You will find that each time you are able to breath a bit more deeply as your lungs expand to their normal state, and that you begin to breath more deeply through out the entire day.

By the way the first time I tried it I didn't actually get much air in, but I breath much more deeply now throughout my entire day.
