This is going to be weird, and probably against your ethical programming, but I still think it to be good advice.
Major Mark Cunningham says that when one wants a particular woman, the best thing to do is seduce ten other women, and the the one you want will both be "not so hard," and if you are rejected you'll have some perspective on the whole "other fish in the sea."
I speak from experience, as I've had my own fair share of obsessions. I've actually taken no less than four perscription medications due to them. The best thing for it is to see human beings as unique, but ultimately interchangable. One girlfriend can never replace another, but every woman has her own special qualities that make her lovable.
