So smartfish, whats the majority problem with you? I'm not trying to sound like a therapist but I know exactly how it feels when you don't know how to start. The truth is, you just do something and you learn more of which route to take as you go. I believe if you give me an idea of what your going through I could give the best advice for types of "things" to do, because I've been there and I know how it feels. It's like it's pushed on you without choice yet you still blame yourself as if "you" some how caused it, or you say "why you wasted so much time". Don't do that man, this life is a learning experience and sometimes these things give us the opportunity to reach beyond it so that our mind becomes "our Tool", everyone in life has to "break the code". I believe anyone and everyone has unlimited abilities to learn, live, and be happy, and we all have our own unique abilites and can learn from each other. Like is it "feelings" or "thought" based or both? Is the content random or does it tend to have somewhat uniform content? Seriously just directing you awareness on your external senses is enough to "interupt" you thought pattern, especially body awareness or the 5 senses one by one. Thats just the tip of the iceberg. Try circular breathing, and then "tune in" to the thoughts, just let them run don't stop them. Then direct your attention outside. I mean thats just one little thing. There's so much more. I really reccomend engaging yourself fully in the moment, that kind of brings us in line with Nature and erases the "egoic mind".
The "Illusion Conclusion"course or www.achoiceexperience.org has tapes and books that help you go through the confusion until you very easily come out the other side with a quiet mind and your natural flow comes out. Sedona method is amazing because it makes aware that subconsiously you've been holding on to feelings instead of letting them go consciously. And Natural Brilliance is the bomb because it makes your direct more attension inside and outside so that your clear and deliberate and more able to easily direct your thoughts and actions to whatever you want.
If you do anything I've noticed that there's a small zone of discomfort at first but the immense joy and freedom that is the "real" awaits you on the other side. One taste of victory and the "anxious zone" won't matter anymore. It's good stuff. I think of it as a kind of journey. So if it's alright could you share what this "thing" is like?(I love the "quotes"!)
