OK, I come from a family of witches. I tried the Ouija board ONCE with my grandmother, about 20 years ago or so. We got nothing. Now, my grandmother is a fairly gifted person at remote sensing - she can smell over the telephone. Maybe it was me - I thought it was a game and it looked pointless.
Personally, I have a great deal of skepticism towards all necromantic practices. My girlfriend, though, is an adept at sensing ghosts. She's had some move through her, and she's also experienced them doing "tricks." She's used the board herself, and has never had any noteworthy results.
I'm glad you had fun with it, but there are better methods of divination.
