In fact, she also has a book on mantras which is quite good. The northeast, by the way, is the area in feng shui tied to learning, mental aspirations - the northwest is tied to helpful people, angels, dieties - so if there were any spiritual people you wanted to contact, that's the area of your home you would meditate in.
