I just lost my sales script book that I got from a real estate sales workshop last week. I lost it two days ago. I checked at my office and at my home. I asked other coworkers. I checked at the super market and the places I ate. I checked at the library. I looked in my car. So, I did retrace all the steps.

Do you guys have a certain technique that worked for you in finding lost objects? Like, how to get your subconscious to find it for you?

I had lost my code for the mini-vault I hired in the bank. I did not write the code on paper, since I thought that it was impossible to forget a 3 letter code.
Well, to my utter surprise, I did forget that stupid code.
I started to use all sorts of techniques to ask my subconscience for the code : asking questions before going to sleep, visualising, free writing, meditation ...
I received a lot of codes, but all were wrong.
After three months of trying, I really had that vault to get open soon, so I asked someone from the bank what actions I had to take to let that vault get opened. It would cost me a lot of money, but I seemed to have no choice.
For the last time, I did a brainstorming session and I tried the list of about 20 different codes that came out of that session. To no avail.
Still standing before the vault and exactly on the moment I really gave up, the moment I said to myself, OK, I did my best, I let it go and now I go to one of the representatives of the bank to start the opening procedure, on that particular moment a new code popped into my head.
I was extremely sure it was the wrong code, but I thought I had nothing to loose, so I did try it out.
To my enormous surprise, after putting that code on the wheels, I could turn the key and open the door !!!

So, the solution came just on the moment I let the problem go.

I don't know this is something you can use to solve your problem, but you never know.

Since you've been participating on the thread I started on this subjuect, you know, at least unconsciously, how to find things. Sit or lie down and relax. Here is a technique which can help.

1. Enter a light trance state such as the accelerated learning state. State your intention to find the book. Imagine your body being totally filled with a clear liquid. Imagine all the stress, axiety, and any other negative emotions you have dissolving totally into the liquid. Notice the color of the liquid. Next, imagine all the liquid leaving your body through your fingers, going far away into the distance, taking these negative emotions with it.

2. Imagine a container of another liquid, this time it is full of whatever you need to complete what you want to do. It can be filled with relaxation, confidence, trust, intuition, or any other resources you want or need. Notice what color it is. Now imagine it flowing into your body and the color of all the resources moving into where the negative emotions were before. When the liquid is clear watch it eave your body, leaving all the resources in you.

3. Imagine you are sitting in a movie theater and ask your unconsious to show you what you want to know. Write everything down that you notice. If you know how to imagestream you can do that instead of this step.

Whilst relaxing... try to recall the last time you actually used it, had it in your hand... what were you doing the last time you saw it... and check if that was in fact the last time. Ask youself. That often helps.

Hello to everyone who answered,

Patrick, your technique seems worth trying. It is going to be hard to let go. But I will try.

Patrick, even though many people do not have success with their subconscious mind. I am believing it can be done and it can serve us. I am thinking I will have to devote some time to meditation and relaxation. I must go to yoga class and meditation and relaxation class to help me.

I sort of wished they had Silva in my area.

Patrick, from you said you remind me of the tip of the tongue phenomenon.

Dosetsu, your suggestion is sound. Seems, great for relaxation.

Alex, I have been sort of trying to do what you said today. Maybe I should do it in a state of relaxation I guess.
