For English Gemetria, I perfer to work with ASCII values. E.g. "Kaiden" = 558. "Kaiden Fox" = 921, etc.
The whole A=1, B=2 thing is based off the fact that there isn't a Gemetric system for the Latin alphabet, although one can use letters in an ordered list. Technically, it is precise.
