I find myself fighting wanting to go to work. I like my job alot, and enjoy working with people at my work. Lately, work has been blown out of proportion emotionaly and I dread going to work. Any suggestions on how to overcome this.

Sounds like you might be looking for "Boundless Renewal."

Joey,
I can relate. Been going through the same stuff myself lately, and it's not the first time, I once quit a good job as a manager because of stuff like that.

Although things are going a little bit better right now, I've actually just ordered the Boundless Renewal course myself, to see if it can be of benefit. It should arrive sometime next week, and I'll go through it as soon as time permits. I'll be sure to post some thoughts on it as soon as I feel qualified to do so.

I think one of the more useful sef-help tools out there is the Sedona Method, which you may already be familiar with. It has helped me not just with these kinds of things, but several others as well. I think when I get more consistent and better with it, the results will be... well, I'm excited, to say the least, becase it really does work. It really does seem to represent a discovery, unlike so many other self help methodologies, which seem more like they're based on someone's creative mind and far-fetched assumptions of the workings of the human mind. Look into it if you haven't already.

Also, don't forget that things always work out. When I quit my job as a manager, I really felt at the end of the line (in my mid twenties... impressive, isn't it...), both pysically and mentally worn out, and having messed up at university because of drinking and woman problems (not necessarily in that order...) I don't have much in terms of papers to speak of. Things looked a bit gloomy career wise, to say the least. I had felt lucky to get that job, and now I was back at scratch again.

I took a job as a salesperson, because that seemed like the best thing I could get, if not the only thing I could get. Things went well, and I was soon moved into coaching other salespeople, which I really enjoyed doing. Although I've lately felt a bit fed up with being a salescoach (and I didn't expect that to happen), it's been a much more rewarding and cool job than the one I had.

I now see my problems at my former workplace as nothing but blessings, if it hadn't been for them I might still be there, and that's a thought I really dread! Things worked out for the better, and I'm confident that when I do move on from my current job, it'll just be a step up, once again. Even though I'm doing something that I actually enjoy most of the time.

I've also found that taking some time off from work and really focusing on other things, even if it's just for a week, can help sort things out, or make things clearer.

I'm sure you know already, and need no reminder of this, but life is full of obstacles, and they're there for our benefit. Best of luck to you. I've noticed that things can turn around in an instant, and they may do so for you too, before you know it.

Sorry, going off on a rant here. Anyway, have a terrfic day!

Bahiano
