Marketing is a tough area, because the point of marketing is to drive interest in your product and to increase sales. These are all business issues and by basic business as well as common ethical standards we don't want to have people making false claims. We can probably all agree on that.
In the most abstract way that we can look at Centerpointe - we can see them as a meditation modality program. Most people will recognize the basic validity of meditation as a development regimine. It has been proven throughout written history.
If you boil all of Centerpointe's marketing down - what you are left with is this basic claim - Holosync will help you to meditate in a very deep manner - just as people who have had many years or even decades of experience in meditation would. I believe what they mean by this is that the Holosync product will cause your brain wave patterns to match those of deeply experienced meditators while they are meditating. Based on their research into brain wave patterns, yogis and lamas meditating and brain entrainment technology - I think that Centerpointe (Bill Harris) believes this to be true.
Now what exactly that would mean for each individual trying the program is probably going to be a very personal and subjective thing. To have one's brain take on the pattern of deep meditation is one thing. If the person has no experience of meditation - they may have very little conscious awareness of the effect of this process on their thinking and behavior. From this perspective their is no short-cut around traditional meditation's process of building the bridge of consciousness into the higher mind. This is a process that takes time, discipline and clear intention. The Holosync process will not give you those things - you will have to provide them. This is the same for any personal development process. It is along this line that Centerpointe's marketing probably goes most astray, however I believe they try to make up for it in their support system.
It takes discipline to work with the Centerpointe program just as it does with any other development program. In the case of Centerpointe it also takes a very specific amount of money continued over many years. The program can take ten years to complete to the very end - or longer if you like. If you have the discipline to keep that kind of focus there are other programs that I believe are more effective, depending on your inclination, and the intentions and goals of your development practice than the Holosync process. There are even programs that function completely by the voluntary support of the students.
If anyone is interested in such programs I could give more information.
