I have recently recieved both an email and a mailing from Learning Strategies about the Sedona Method. I am curious to hear how other Learning Strategies programs work with the Sedona Method.

Does anyone have any stories about how they have used the Sedona Method (especially in combination with other programs or paraliminals)?

Thanks!

The Euphoria course is a collection of six different methodologies or approaches to creating euphoria in your life. The Hale Dwoskin describes the Sedona Method, it's history, benefits and use on one of those CD.

I listened to it yesterday. Then came home to the same email you mentioned. I am quite impressed with the method. I'm not sure I'd want to spend that much money to learn more about the system. However, the real issue for me is spending time using the systems I already know. So I really don't have time for this course right now. Maybe later in my life.

If you don't have access to other liberating methodologies, then I would recommend considering buying this. I feel that many people will find it accessible. By this I mean the method is useable by all, however some people may not be ready to take that kind of control of their life. Which is why the course is bigger than one CD. More time allows them to make the method accessible to (accepted by) a larger portion of the populations.

Please, don't that this as a negative comment. All of these systems require the adoption of a belief or belief(s) for them to work. If the idea of changing beliefs is too threatening, then maybe you'd prefer the idea of seeing the world from a certain perspective. They are really the same thing.
Even the PhotoReading system requires adopting a certain type of perspective on human capabilities (beliefs). Or at least the removal of beliefs that limit your capabilities. Opening the curtains still changes the perspective.

I purchased the Sedona Method course more than a year ago. It's one of the best purchases I have done. The course in itself is almost designed to put on your headphones and let go. It's very easy, and the results are very powerful. Of course, this course as well as many others, require that you learn the method. The more you use it, the easier it gets to release.

I have used the Sedona Method along with paraliminals (more precisely, the Ideal Mindset course). It does not interfere with other LSC programs, all to the contrary, it reinforces any of their effects.

It is very helpful on facing challenging situations, especially emotionally highly charged situations. I managed to put behind me a depresion that came as a result of a personal situation. By using the New History Generator paraliminal and Sedona I managed to put it behind me in a couple of days.

About changing your beliefs, I found that Sedona didn't change them significatively. And I still can use it without believing all what Hale Dowskin tells.

I hope this helps.

A nice alternative to the course is Hale Dwoskin's book The Sedona Method. From what I have read on the MSN Sedona forum, the book covers everything that is in the course and the book is only $17.00. I am pleased with it.

I found the real breakthrough for me came when I did tape 6 of the course. In the beginning it seem like so what? But listening to tape 6 it was that A-Ha! experience.

How does the Sedona method compare to the Emofree method? I have found that the Sedona method complements the Natural Brilliance model of breaking through stop signs or mental oscillations, in that it enables one to let go of the very cause of the block.

A lot of people on this forum have mentioned the Emofree method and I am curious to see how it compares to the Sedona Method.

My experience was somehow different. I experienced that a-ha! from the very first tape. It is still possible that some people don't get it even going through the whole course. I find it hard to believe, but still I find it possible.

I got it from the first tape alright but there was something significant about the day when I did the 6th tape. It really kicked in on a deep level.

There seem to be 3 different way to experience the Sedona method. I would guess that the most immediate way is to go on the course but does anyone have really positive experinces from just reading the book. I can see that it may require more 'discipline' to do this than to use tapes or go on the course but does anyone have anything to say about this?

In the Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT, you be tapping certain acupressure points on the face, upper body, and hands in a specific sequence while thinking of the negative emotion. This can be hard to do in public with other people looking on unless you're able to kinesthetically visualize the process. With the Sedona Method, no physical movements are required. EFT can be useful for extreme traumatic experiences that occurred in the past. EFT is only one of many meridian-based techniques in Energy Psychology and can be a very effective alternative to traditional psychotherapy in that emotional issues can resolve in far less time.
