Try the www.releasetechnique.com too. This is Larry Cranes version of sedona. This is the one i used. I found sedona tricky and difficult to use. Then i photo read Hales book and i began to release totally intuitively and extremely easily. I then had bad experience where i freaked out because i was releasing too fast. Now, i seem to find my experience is up and down. Lots of blocks keep coming up. Releasing the blocks is the key i think.

If you get it working smoothly though. I think it is probaly the ultimate technique. It works well with binaural meditation i think. The meditation racks issues up and you knock em down with sedona.

Hey, guys

It's been a while since I posted here.

I also got that mail with the Sedona Method and sample CD. It was pretty convincing, and I was compelled to buy it...! And I must say, although I'm about halfway through, it's a great and straightforward course, especially in conjunction to PhotoReading (which may stir up many different emotions for most beginners!) The 2 products surely make a complementary combination, with the "releasing" and "letting go" being a common aspect of both courses.

I'm glad that Sedona and Learning Strategies are working together. It's a great mix.

P.S. Is anybody aware of a Sedona Method forum? I just found out at their website about the graduate log-in feature. I presume that's what it is...

I just sent for the Sedona Method Course. I have been getting their sample casette in the mail for years and I get mailings from Learning Strategies about it. After thinking about their $188 special and all the stress in my life, I thought maybe it's time to give this course a try. I hope it delivers, I have alot of uncertainty in my life and I have alot of buttons that get pressed that I'm sure are related to past hurts. Each day when I get home, I check the mailbox for my package!

I have done both the Sedona Method by Hale Dwoskin and the Release Technique by Larry Crane, and I, personally, found the Release Technique to have taken me much deeper and much further along with respect to spiritual growth and abundance than the Sedona Method had. I felt stuck with the Sedona Method, like it was missing something.

I think the difference lies in the approach. I found the Release Technique to be more "feeling" oriented rather than "head" oriented, which the Sedona Method seemed to be.

Also, I think the Release Technique was better at helping me to achieve my goals (I achieved increased peace of mind/imperturbability, new job that I love, new car, new home, better relationships and much more). Life just gets easier and easier. Larry teaches what he calls the "Butt" system where you do nothing except sit on your butt and Release and everything comes to you for the effortless thought of it (I know, sounds crazy until you actually see it working for you-- big time).

If you've done the Sedona Method I think you'll find that Larry's course will take you to the next level. If you haven't done the Sedona Method yet, I'd actually recommend starting with the Release Technique, as Larry's course seems to be more advanced and covered much of what's in the entire Sedona course in only the first few tapes of his Abundance Course -- and then he takes you further. Both Hale and Larry learned directly from Lester Levenson www.releasetechnique.com/Lester_Levenson although each teaches the technique with their own particular style.

The biggest gain I have seen from taking the Abundance Course (Release Technique) has been my happiness level. So much happiness has been welling up from out of nowhere lately. And there is this deep, deep sense of "everything's okay. everything's perfect." It is so lovely.

About two weeks ago, I spent about six hours Releasing on some core issues, and dumped so much garbage. The effects were profound and carry through to this day.

Now, there is so much more inner quiet that doesn't go away. There is mostly just a beautiful sense of rest no matter what the body/mind are doing. And, when I look in the mirror I see this face that just beams a huge smile for no reason at all and laughs at life throughout the day -- seeing it all as a fun movie instead of as a threat to my existence. It feels like I am on a permanent vacation!

Larry just put his new TV infomercial online at www.releasetechnique.com/tv-infomercial if you want to get a sense of what his course is all about. I think it's worth a gazillion dollars. And, all hype aside, this stuff really works (just as PhotoReading does!)

Sorry for the long post. I have seen so many improvements in my life from taking Larry's course that I wanted to share it with y'all.

My impression on the Sedona Method course was that it was "feeling oriented", not "head oriented". I never felt stuck with it either.

I once receive a letter from Larry Crane on his course. Since I had taken the Sedona Method already, I threw it away. Now I find your comments intriguing. At first glance, seems that Larry has something to offer to people that have taken the Sedona Method too. But since my experience with the Sedona Method is somehow different to what you describe as yours, then I wonder if the Release Technique has indeed something to offer to me.

Now, for the practical formalities. How good is Larry's guarantie? How much time does he allow before a refund chance expires? Do you know about how good is his refund service? Thanks.

I have been experimenting with EFT using Dr. Mercola's EFT manual and I have gotten what seems to be impressive results. I must continue experimenting with it. It seems more powerful and effective than the Sedona Method, but I have very very limited experience with it, I have to use it much more. I may buy Dr. Mercola's DVD course on EFT (Gary's CD-ROM course is unusable to me, first because my computer does not play sounds and second because all the video is recorded in QuickTime format and I cannot install the QuickTime software in order to make it play the videos because it interferes with other software I have installed). One thing I have guessed about EFT is that it could be used to reframe beliefs using the choices technique, I may be using it with those purposes when I reach the Belief section in my Ideal Mindset course.

The Sedona Method is more well known, but I've used it and the Release Technique for a couple of years now. I've tried dozens of programs and releasing really has done the job for me.

I think the Release Technique goes a lot deeper and I think it would take most people farther. In studying the work (it's based on discoveries by Lester Levenson) it holds truer to the design of what Levenson discovered. Sedona will tell you otherwise, but I don't think that's true.

My personal opinion is Larry Crane dedicated himself to mastering this information while Hale Dwoskin has used it as a vehicle for marketing and making money. Hale knows it and he's good, but it is a totally different level of experience with Larry Crane's Release Technique.

I learned the SM first and if it had been the other way around I don't think I'd have felt the same.

I think different people respond to different approaches, but I'd buy the Release Technique course as soon as you can. It's simple and my results have been profound - truly. It's an awesome course and the more I do it, the better it gets.

Best wishes, John

Well for the past few weeks I have done much research on both SM (Sedona Method) & RT (Release Technique). They both have the same goal in mind.

I have heard from many people that have done both, and the conclusions I have drawn is that neather RT or SM is better than the other. They are two diffrent roads to the same place. Some people like SM & others RT, it depends on what type of learner you are.

For a great forum that is dedicated to SM & RT go to http://groups.msn.com/TheSedonaMethodreleasingClub/messageboard.msnw . There you will find much information on both, and many people that have done both and share tips and tricks. Hope this helps.

Hi,

Larry states a 30-day guarantee for 100% of the purchase on his site. Basically, risk free except for shipping. I would never part with this course anyway, and I can't imagine why anyone else would except if they really weren't committed to using it.

Even if you return the course, he lets you keep three tapes/CDs, so shipping's not big a deal. At least you get something out of it to keep, and two of the tapes are of Lester Levenson and one is Larry leading a "General Clean-up" and a "Beingness Clean-up" session. They are all fantastic. I've listened to them many times.

I've tried EFT. Found it a bit tedious to keep tapping points all over my face, actually, but hey, maybe some don't mind that. I, personally, find it a little awkward to tap points in public. That's one place where the Release Technique really outshines other methods. It can be used on-the-spot in any situation, during the situation, and no one will ever know you are using it.

You don't "wait until later" to get over the issue. You clear things instantly right then and there. For example, if you are afraid of public speaking and its your turn to speak in 3 minutes, you simply release the fear and you will speak from a place of confidence. It works amazingly well. I used this many times during executive committee meetings at my last job. I got many rounds of applause when hardly anyone else got much of anything. I am sure this was because of the releasing. After releasing, I was confident and able to really connect with my audience. (But, before I released, I was often shaking like a leaf!)

I have dropped so much garbage using the Release Technique. It is so easy to use and for me has become more fun to use each day. Today, I spent an hour sitting out in the sunshine releasing and getting lighter and lighter. I released on the feelings of "separation/lacking oneness" and such a deep peace and lovely quietness came over me. I realized that all my wanting to be special and wanting to belong has essentially been my wanting to be one and that was a very lacking feeling. And I realized that all my wanting to be separate from others was really just an aversion to oneness. When I saw how they have both been batting me around, I saw how useless both attachments and aversions really are and so I let them both go and settled into a beautiful moment of just simply Being. Pure, simple, quiet inside, like a snowy winter night. A serene stillness. I can't describe it. I can't even call it happiness, as there was no trace of emotion. Just a sense of awakeness, awareness, silence. Lovely.

I'd highly recommend Larry's advanced courses. I am doing his "What Do You Want To Do When You Grow Up?" Course now and it's wonderful. Really goes to the very heart of what Lester spent years trying to help people to get---Freedom from ALL limitations.

Have a great day and thanks for your comments.

Hi,

I looked at the releasetechnique website and it really impressed me. If I hadn't jsut ordered the L/S Abundance, I would have ordered the abundance course as it looked so good.

Has anyone ordered the Release Techniqe course recently? I will start the L/S Abundance course when it arrives, it might be interesting to compare experiences.

Jodi

I plan to mix the Abundance for Life course heavily with SM/EFT, maybe with BSFF if I catch it. When I posted about EFT, I didn't mean that I'll drop release, I know that EFT looks weird. My main plan was/is having a backup technique to use when I get stuck with the other one.
