I think the book is fairly remarkable.

I have not had the discipline to use the book over an extended period of time, but I can tell you that you do notice results.

Unfortunately, the results, for me, were short-lived (lasting perhaps a half an hour to an hour after the session). Had I continued to use the book every day for a month would I have seen more lasting results? I don't know.

I can tell you that the book is very interesting, and the text is a good example of Ericksonian hypnosis.

The method is based upon the work of Moshe Feldenkrais(sp?) and ideomotor responses to verbal suggestion. Masters and Moshe F. worked together for a while, I believe. Moshe F. was a person who had a unique system of working with the body and could help people recover from bodily injuries in amazing ways.

Masters also has tapes and books on the Psychophysical Method (related to the subject matter of the book).
