I just received a post from LS regarding The Silva ESP course. I was wonder if anybody here has any experience or success with this course.

This is not the first time that I have received this brochure. It was at least 6 months to a year ago. I am also interested in this course. I think there might have been a few posts about it long ago, but I sure don't know how to find them. This is more down the path of my interest than a lot of the other courses.

Anyone out there with info?

While the Ultramind ESP course may not have been discussed on some of the other forums you will find Silva and Silva Method mentioned in the Genius Code and PhotoReading as well.

This home study course has the basic of the Silva Method course with a stronger focus of developing ESP. Developing Remote Viewing and other ESP skills.

It is OK. I prefer the newer program by John LaTourrette though.

The idea of Remote Viewing is trully fascinating. I would have to see (pun intended) it believe it. I guess I am just a very left brained person. Does any body in this forum has accomplished RV skills?

One of the main reason I am sceptical is because it is claimed The US gov has spent millions on researing and utilising RV. So why don't they just RV all these terrorist suspect hiding in Iraq.

IMO it is more of another way to use your intuition rather than literally seeing something somewhere across the world. I've had some interesting experiences that I posted some time back on a thread titled "finding lost objects." The first technique was just using hypnosis to find things I misplaced but later I posted an update on how I found a cell phone that I should not have been able to find because I was not the one who lost it nor was I there when it was lost.

I'm pretty sure the Silva RV method is different from the Technical Remote Viewing that the government experimented with. I don't know how effective that was, but the government will spend millions on just about anything, so believing that they did this is no stretch for me.

One of the people promoting this was on the Art Bell show shortly after 9-11-01. According to him it takes a highly trained and experienced remote viewer to carry out this mission. He said the enemy was aware of these techniques and came up with ways to foil them, such as holding meetings in a tent that is inside a cave so the RVer would think they are based in a tent.

I just got the email for the silva course. The first paragraph on the the website is pretty much word for word the "instantaneous connection" pattern from ross jeffries.

I just checked my email and you're right. LOL! Not neccessarily the exact same words but certainly the same theme. It's a pretty good ad.

Personally I like reading ads with hypnotic language patterns. This may be a bit over the top, but how about:

"You may feel that those objections are a solid wall, and as you look closely at them, every objection can easily dissappear, and as each objection dissappears even faster than the one before, they can all vanish so completely that the more you try in vain to bring them back the more they will vanish completly, to the point where they dissappear permanantly. And when the wall fades into nothingness as you awaken to the reality that it is only natural to order this program.NOW, it may seem that simply turning your computer on causes you to have an overwhelming urge to order it. Sooner or later, you may feel the irresistable urge to make that call."

This was modified from part of a really wierd pattern I sent to some friends, but it was not about ordering any tapes. It made a little more sense in the original context.

I'm not sure if you guys are suggesting that the advertisement for this course is put in a hypnotic way as to make you buy it?
(I'm not feeling the urge to buy as you may suggest.)I have heard about Silva for many years. I am interested in the ESP course, but someone said they liked the Remote Viewing course with John LaTourrette better. I have looked that course up on a web search. It looks pretty cool. Now I'm not sure which Silva course to buy (if I buy one at all.) Any input is appreciated. Anyone had any experience and results from the Silva courses, please advise! Thanks!

Well, I went and bought the Silva Remote Viewing course by John LaTourrette. The description of the course was almost the same topics as the ESP course and it was alot cheaper. I also took into consideration one of the above posts. I have wanted to use a RV course for a long time. There is a big website with a more expensive course, and it looks very nice. www.davidmorehouse.com/
But my budget was not that much, so I have been searching elsewhere.
Anyone think it will be possible to look into the future and get the winning lottery numbers? (just kidding)
