Hello All,
I just received the Silva Ultramind ESP System offer from LS and would like to start a thread, if I may, on the subject. I have read Margaret's posts in a separate thread saying great things to say about the Silva Method, and I was wondering whether anyone knows if it's the same one Margaret has taken, whether anyone here besides Margaret has taken the course already (whether that offered from LS or the Silva folks themselves), what their experience has been, whether it's the same one Margaret has taken, etc. I thought it was called the Silva Method of Mind Control, and I'm curious as to why LS would change it to ESP, maybe there are two courses, I don't know, or why order thru LS when you can order directly from the Silva folks.
Any input is greatly appreciated! (Of course, I'd be honored if Margaret didn't mind repeating herself a bit and joined in as well!)
Thanks All!

If you do a search online for Jose Silva, you will see many websites. There are many different courses. The Mind Control is the original course that they taught many years ago. You can still get it on CD. They also have the ESP course and a Remote Viewing course. You can find these courses on sale sometimes much cheaper from other sites. These courses are high quality.

The Ultramind method is also original. It does away with the handholding of the original course. At the time when the Silva Method first appeared people were not ready to hear about ESP using the powers of the mind and that. So it was presented in applicable steps. How to heal headaches, staying awake, memory technique, relaxation techniques.

In fact it was the repetition of "Going to Level" that the earlier portions of the course needed to help people get ready for the possibility that they have ESP ability (nicely renamed to make it more acceptable.) This is because when the training came out in 1966 (Jose started teaching it then), meditation was just begining to hit the western society with the hippie overtones and the fact that alpha brainwaves and the relaxed state of alertness being benfical for learning was not understood. That the relaxed state of alertness (alpha) triggered ESP skills was accidently uncovered, Jose was more focued on accelerating his kids learning. Prove about the connection of Alpha with learning and psychic skills is still being researched in more details now. I know of only one research where they hooked up known psychics to find out what brainwaves they trigger and they did it on TV in 2004.

To keep it to the point that it is a skill humans naturally have Jose downplayed the ESP part. Just prior to his passing he released the Ultramind ESP System. A course he wanted to present a long time ago, he was waiting till the public is reasdy.

The Ultramind course focuses on the ESP part which was taught on the last two days of the course. Since a person interested in developing "ESP" is already open the handholding and preparation of learning dynamic meditation isn't necessary. If you've used Paraliminals, hypnosis, NLP, passive, guided meditations and other self improvment audios where you close your eyes to listen, then you are familar with dynamic meditation.

People who have done the original Silva method may be disappointed because it seems to be a "condensation" of the course. In fact it is an expansion of the last two days when the course was taught over 5 days. I know the Live Silva Method course was condensed and was condensed even further in 2004 they eiliminated and combined much of the practice requiring yout to enter the level less. Some people repeating the new Silva Method classes after having experienced the longer classes are disappointed.

The Ultramind ESP is still the original last 2 days with some addtional focuses on other ESP techniques. So newcomers will be enjoy the course. Those who have done the original Silva Method will be able to appreciate the extra training they can get from the Ultramind ESP home study course when they realise they won't "learn" too much new but can practice what they were originally taught on the last two days, something with I understand is now squashed into the weekend with the other training.

Try the search term Silva Method in the Genius Code forum and this one. It has a mention couple of mentions in the PhotoReading forum but the other two had more people involved.

LS did not change the name. All three Silva courses are produced by Nightingale-Conant. They are "The Silva Method," "The Silva Ultramind ESP System," and "Silva Ultramind's Remote Viewing and Remote Influencing." They pretty much teach the same material but have a slightly different focus. The important part is the alpha conditioning that is in all the programs. The specific skills come secondary. I personally like the remote viewing/influencing one the best.

There is also a short course, one video and an alpha conditioning tape, from N-C by Laura Silva.

I am currently enjoying the Remote Viewing and Influencing Course. I have just started it, the thing that I notice most is that the alpha conditioning has taken the edge off of my stress. Sometimes you buy a course and it just 'clicks' with you. I highly recommend this one.

Hello All,

Thanks for your input to this thread. Because of it I ordered the SU ESP S course. It arrived 2 days ago. Today is Saturday and I spent most of the day praciticing the exercises in going in and out of level. I have a few questions: Should I be allowing time between exercises? Master Lin instructs us to do Qi Gong only at certain times (between meals, etc.)and when someone asks in the forums how many paralims per day we should listen to, or how often we can listen to the same one, we are usually told to wait x amount of time between listenings. The Silva course does not discuss any of this, I guess because it seems to be a summary of 5-, 3-, or 2-day seminars. I was just wondering, if I go to level right after a meal, does it stop digestion?
But anyway, I sure wish I'd ordered it a long time ago. It feels like all my HoloSyncing (I'm on Purification now) and all my E.F.T.ing and of course all my Qi Gong and Natural Brilliance and paraliminals have laid a nice groundwork for Silva.

Usually you sit down for a Silva Mediation 1 to 3 times a day. 5 to 15 minutes each time. There is usually time between listening. If you are following along with the course. You listen to the explainations discussion about the exercise and then do it. So you would take a break of 20 minutes that way. I do recommend that you take a break between exercises when you do it on your own. That break helps you to train your mind to go to level faster each time so you get to a point were you just say the numbers and you are at that very deep level.

Jose always recommended three good times to do the meditation. in order of preference. Morning upon awakening, Evening before sleep, After lunch. Each of these times you closest to the alpha level and it makes getting to level easier. As for time he would say once a day is good, twice a day is better, 3 times a day is excellent, 5 minutes is good, 10 minutes is better and 15 minutes is excellent. If you have a health problem practice 15 minutes 3 times a day.

When doing it after lunch just make sure you sit up and don't exceed 15 minutes. You'll find a natural slot that is about 30 minutes after eating where you feel the effect of the meal triggering alpha. That's a good time to go to level.

(Oh Alex, I just remembered this thread should be in Genius Code with the others on Silva Method instead of here, please move it if you need to).

It's now Sunday am and I did my first programming session (with Disk 8, the one for traveling, the short exercise, where Mr. * Junior gives you 15 minutes for programming.)

I had a small panic attack when the 15 min. of silence began... I guess I have mass confusion of how to start; which technique to use, there are so many...? or a simple sort of affirmation perhaps would suffice for a novice? Should I deal with all the issues in my life in general, or should I deal with/bring up one problem or issue at at time? Maybe using the notebook to write down mayor issues and deal with one at at time?
And a more technical question:
Am I to use the disks for ever? Is that what they're for? Like all other courses from LSC, meant to be used again and again, and each time get more out of them? Or just the last "travel" one? No one mentions any disks or tapes on the forum when they talk of "going to level." Shall I assume the goal, then, is to get so good at it, you get the steps so ingrained and practiced that you can go to level all by by yourself even if it's on a busy street in NYC, if you need to?
Thanks!

When you start your 15 minutes (10, 0r 5). Consider what you want to focus on. What challenge or outcome would you like to sort out.

I find one problem at a time works best. If we were able to solve proples with a generalised perspective we wouldn't need techniques like Silva. Once you've done a programing for a problem you can add it to the next session as a completed image. It only takes a few seconds to remember the completed image. Keep the list of goals at about 7 to 10. Notebook or journal is an excellent idea. When they manifest or your ESP are on target you have some successful anchors or memories to use for future sessions.

Be warned about ESP misses. The problem with getting answers through ESP is as individuals we often get insights that give us the choice to change the outcome. Example you have a strong urge to change your route home it makes you 10 minutes late and you followed that ESP urge. It turns out to be another day but now you are 15 minutes late and your partner is mad at you for being late. You check and find there was no delay along your usual route. You got nothing out of the long route home. So it seems like ESP failed you. Yet your inner prompting were so strong.

It looks like a miss but because you used the inner urging or prompting you changed something but you have no way of knowing what other than to get home late. So write down you ESP and note whether you followed the prompting, because if you do you are changing something in the matrix.

With the CDs, come back to them to develop you skills. You don't need to listen in order, you might even find you have a favourite. The help that they give you for entering level is training that is worth coming back to from time to time. Disk 8 is good because you can use it to develop your skill more freely.

Yes, you will get to such a point when you use it regularly.
