It took me awhile to answer my own question but I believe the smartest thing I ever did was to move to Maui. It really is more of a state of mind than a location.
Here I have experienced many cultures and had many great Teachers come and visit me.
It is a place that is very practical and very mystical at the same time. The place seemed to claim me when I arrived. There was a sense I was home after much traveling all my life and I had tears coming down my face (don't tell anyone!)
Best of all, it's always warm.
