Marshal; When I quit smoking it took me two years of going through this process of "It's easy for me to quit doing anything else, why can't I quit this?" and I wrestled with that question. I had given myself two years to work it out.
At the end of two years I had my last smoke. After the first 30 smokefree days I knew I had to go get drunk and not have a smoke before claiming victory. Celebrated for 3 days. It was a good thing. Not real traditional, but a good thing.
