Hi Hartreefoch:

Yes, it is quite likely this type of imprinting can occur, and does occur for some people. I have only just recently had the opportunity to work with a Time Line Therapist who did some major clearing work with me on that particular issue. My Mom was in labour for 36 hours, she was very frightened through the whole experience, and the medical care was, by today's standards, very poor. I was one of the first live C-sections performed in Canada where both mother and baby survived.

With the prolonged labour I had made several turns in the womb and was finally yanked out with the umbillical cord wrapped a couple of times around my neck. I was very weak, and because I had pretty much stopped moving, she also thought, as did the doc's, that I was dead, and they fully expected to pull a dead child from the womb.

As a result of this rough birth experience, most of my life I had operated from a fear base, limiting social contact as much as possible, and to some extent, sabotaging success to keep that configuration in play. Over the last several years I've searched for help and received much of it through hypnosis and related modalities, and the type of stuff LSC offers.

Some of the work can be facilitated with the New History Generator paraliminal, and once you've done the Time Line Therapy, using it would be a good way, IMHO, of reinforcing the changes made in the Therapy. TLT is a gentle, very effective technique, in the hands of a good practitioner, for moving out of birth trauma, as well as other areas of the life where trauma has imprinted and held you in a stuck place. I am looking forward, as a Hypnotist myself, to adding it to my repetoire of tools very soon.

Cheers!
