I totally agree with the above statement... when I purchased the Photoreading course, I only really attempted the PRWMS at exam time. I put a lot of pressure on myself (and the credibility of the system!) to do well, right away. And when it didn't work out, I got discouraged.
Now that I am graduated from university, I finally have the time to explore a wide range of material that I couldn't look at before due to time constraints. I decided to give the PRWMS a try again, no pressure. If the system didn't work, it wouldn't matter.
People have done the same thing here, time and time again, and I was no exception. It worked for me. After relaxing, and not really worrying if my technique was perfect (eg, wondering the whole time if I was in alpha, if I was scanning correctly, etc.), things just started to gel.
Believe, relax, and don't pressure yourself. My results aren't an epiphany, but definitely good enough to convince me that the system works and encourage me to keep using it.
My favourite "trick" I used on myself so far was to "direct learn" 6 books on NLP. I figured that if the PRWMS had some of its roots in NLP, then this might help. It certainly has. I've been using NLP tactics, using my submodalities, and other simple tricks with complicated names, to increase my success. 80% - 90% success rate with the Dictionary Game, these days.
Ok, enough of my blabbering. I'm excited if you can't already tell.
